Water therapy is beneficial for alleviating pain and inflammation in any organ of the body. Hot and cold water therapy is one of the widely used home remedies for foot pain. Fill two buckets one with warm water and another with cold water, soak your foot in bucket containing warm water for 3 or 4 minutes and later in cold water for same duration, repeat few times and perform this entire process 2-3 times in the day. This therapy diffuses inflammation and circulates blood in the region to heal damage and relieve pain. Continue performing this till you gain relief.
Use Cold Compresses to Get Rid of Foot Pain
Cold compresses or application of ice pack also works as one of the simple and effective home remedies for foot pain. You can keep peas in freezer for 30-45 minutes to chill. Collect these in a plastic bag and tie it to the affected region. Let it stay for 20-30 minutes and keep repeating after regular intervals till you gain relief.

Take handful of sage leaves and crush these mildly, add to a cup of apple cider vinegar and put the mixture to heat. Give this mixture 2-3 boils and allow it to steep and become warm. Soak a cotton cloth in the mixture and apply over painful foot. Leave it on for 10 minutes and apply few times. You can repeat entire process 2-3 times in the day and continue till problem subsides.
Apple Cider Vinegar and Water for Tired and Aching Feet
For a simpler way prepare a solution by adding two cups of apple cider vinegar to a jug full of warm water. Collect the mixture in a suitable container and soak your feet for 15 minutes. Wash and wipe later and repeat till problem gets resolved.
